The glass powder pressed to different shapes travels through a tunnel kiln with a speed enough to melt periphery of the form, while not melting the interior to cause a change of form or color. The temperature profile and cycle period are critical parameters of the operation for standardization of color and dimensions of the product.
 
 
Mesh Belt Tunnel Kilns
 
This group of kilns is being widely used for sintering in the production of glass mosaic tiles by using glass powder pressing technique. They can alternatively be used for fire polishing also.
 
 
Circular Tunnel Kilns
 
This type of kilns are widely used in production of glass mosaic tiles by using cutting technique.
